The Transgender USSR Flag is a modern reinterpretation of the classic Soviet banner that combines traditional communist symbolism with the color palette of the transgender pride flag. The design follows the common “SSR × flag” model used by many Soviet republics, in which a largely red field representing socialism and revolution is modified with colored horizontal stripes. In this variation, the upper portion remains a solid red field bearing the traditional gold hammer and sickle beneath a red star in the canton, symbolizing the unity of workers and peasants under communism. Along the lower portion of the flag runs a sequence of horizontal stripes in light blue, pink, white, pink, and light blue, referencing the internationally recognized colors of the transgender pride flag.

As a conceptual or meme-style vexillological design, the flag reflects the broader trend of remixing historic political symbols with modern identity flags.
