A message from the founder
The story of Flagmaker & Print is also my story. I am Vincent De Nil ('VincentDN'), a designer and artist. In 2017, I founded Kaiser Cat Cinema - a collective of artists creating historically inspired content on YouTube. This project included live-action short films, animations, and comics, which I made alongside various other artists on my team. We funded all these projects through Patreon and merchandise sales, with flags being chief among them.
Soon, however, I noticed a growing trend. As Kaiser Cat Cinema sold more and more flags, users began arriving who had no connection to the YouTube channel at all. They bought flags purely for themselves, and I started receiving a flood of emails from customers asking me to customize their flags.
Developing a flagmaker
Soon, it became clear why. Inadvertently, I had discovered that there was no easy way for individuals to have their own custom, personalized flags made and manufactured. Most online shops didn’t offer a user-friendly interface for editing flags or struggled to provide a smooth experience for individual customers. The overwhelming majority of flag printing suppliers focused on the more profitable business side of flagmaking.
I realized that it might be possible to provide such a service to the individual customer instead. If a specialized webshop could bundle enough orders to make it worthwhile for a larger flag supplier. To bring this idea to life, I reached out to some colleagues who developed apps. COVID-19 had just hit, and to be honest, we were all quite bored at home.
And so, Flagmaker & Print was born!

We want to make Flagmaker & Print into 'The Easiest Way to Design and Print your Flag Online!'. Because of this, we offer a wide set of features to make your flag design journey as easy as possible.
• First and foremost, of course, is our built-in flag designer app, available on both mobile and browser. This app allows anyone to customise, import, export any flags to their heart's desire.
• Once you press 'Print My Flag', our proprietary software moves on to the second stage of the manufacturing process. The app automatically forwards the printfile to a design check (a so called pre-press check). Afterwards, the app communicaties with a supplier directly. We work with a wide variety of suppliers in both the EU, US and Asia to ensure we can always offer a rock solid quality and simple price model for all our flags.

• Not happy, money back guarantee: To take the stress out of printing flags, we offer a complete and comprehensive 'Not happy, money back!' guarantee. This means that, if there is any fault with your design, or you would like to update it, you should not hesitate to contact us to request a free replacement or refund.
• No extra fees, no hidden costs: We operate on a 'one price' model which has not changed since 2019. Design revisions, a custom hoist, grommets or other perks - everything is included in our flag price. This means all our prices can be summarised in two sentences: All our flags start at $29.90 for single-sided models, and $39.90 for double-sided models. Shipping is free over $50, and bulk orders get discounts up to 50%. That's it!
• No minimum order quantities: We believe no flag is too small. You could have a single custom table flag made here, and we'd be happy to manufacture it for you!

There were some faults with the flag but it was ultimately my fault, I couldn’t see the issues in the flag maker. Otherwise, great quality and customer service. There’s really no other place doing custom flags like this for the average consumer instead of the customer and it’s good to support a business that has passion in it.
