✒️ The flag of Little Rock, Arkansas, adopted on October 18, 1988, features a white field with a royal blue horizontal stripe and a forest green vertical stripe, both bordered in golden yellow, forming a Scandinavian cross. At the intersection of the stripes lies a modified version of the city seal, rendered in golden yellow. The seal depicts a mound or rock pile against a level background, with a red silhouette of the state of Arkansas suspended above it. A five-pointed yellow star marks the city& location on the map. Encircling the seal are two rings of text: "CITY OF LITTLE ROCK" at the top and "ARKANSAS" at the bottom, separated by oak leaves. The design was the result of a public contest and was created by David Wilson. The flag symbolizes the city& optimism, natural beauty, and historical significance as a crossroads in the mid-southern United States.
