✒️ The Jain flag is a religious symbol representing the principles and ideals of Jainism, one of the oldest spiritual traditions originating in India. The flag consists of five horizontal color bands—red, yellow, white, green, and dark blue or black—each symbolizing the five supreme beings (Pancha Parameshti): Arihant (red), Siddha (yellow), Acharya (white), Upadhyaya (green), and Sadhu or Monk (dark blue/black). In many versions, the flag also includes a swastika symbol and three dots above it, representing the Jain triple gem: right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct. The crescent and dot at the top symbolize Siddhashila, the realm of liberated souls. The Jain flag is used during religious ceremonies and festivals and serves as a visual expression of Jain ethical and spiritual values, particularly non-violence (ahimsa), truth, and asceticism.
