The Communisted United States Flag by Silver-Base features a solid red field charged in the canton area with a stylized white emblem combining a corn ear emerging from a cog, encircled by a ring of thirteen five-pointed stars. The central iconography—corn and industrial gear—symbolizes agrarian and industrial unity, reflecting a syndicalist philosophy rooted in workers’ and farmers’ cooperative power. The thirteen stars surrounding the emblem echo the thirteen original states, while the bold red background references traditional left-wing socialist and communist vexillological color schemes.
This design originated as part of a collaborative creative exercise on the r/vexillology subreddit by the user Silver-Base, reimagining national flags under communist symbolism. The concept was subsequently selected and purchased for broader use, intended to represent a fictional “Communist United States” where agrarian and industrial labor form the core of political identity. Its visual language draws on historical revolutionary motifs adapted to a hypothetical political alternate history, and it has been discussed in online vexillology communities for its heraldic balance and symbolic cohesion.
