✒️ The Bolshevik Flag is a historical symbol associated with the Bolshevik faction of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party, which played a central role in the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the founding of the Soviet Union. Characterized by a solid red field, often adorned with revolutionary symbols such as the hammer and sickle or the inscription “РСДРП(б)” (RSDLP(b)), the flag represented the Bolsheviks’ commitment to Marxist-Leninist principles, proletarian internationalism, and the overthrow of capitalism. The red color symbolized the blood of workers and revolutionaries, a common motif in socialist and communist iconography. Over time, the Bolshevik Flag evolved into the official flag of Soviet Russia and later the USSR, becoming one of the most enduring symbols of 20th-century communism.

Astounding quality

The flagmaking tool was easy to use, Vincent the Vexillilologist was incredibly helpful, and the flag quality is top-notch. It's a REAL flag, not some cringey fabric but something that creates a real sense of pride for the entire Council of Andrews. I can't recommend this service highly enough, 11/10 would recommend!!

Shop does not honor return policy!

The flag was sent folded into 16, so there are very visible fold marks.

To send a flag I would expect you would normally roll it around a cardboard tube. I tried to iron it but it didn't do much.

Also, the logo of the company is sewn to the flag. It's a national flag, you shouldn't do that.

Anyway, I requested a return and did explain my reasons, but never got reply.

Hi Jean, Thanks for reaching out! Our flags do indeed arrive folded (this is explored on https://flagmaker-print.com/faq), but these folds can be easily ironed out (low temp settings, put a towel between the flag and iron). Unfortunately we can't deliver flags in rolled up packaging because of packaging size restrictions.

We took a photo from our family album and worked with ChatGPT to create a file that reflected what we wanted. We then took that file and manually uploaded it to Flagmaker. The results were beyond great. When I showed the finished product to our neighbors, they all wanted one. We'll be ordering more soon.
