✒️ Ingria is a historical region in what is now northwestern European Russia. It lies along the southeastern shore of the Gulf of Finland, bordered by Lake Ladoga on the Karelian Isthmus in the north and by the River Narva on the border with Estonia in the west. The earliest known modern inhabitants of the region were indigenous Finnic ethnic groups, primarily the Izhorians and Votians, who converted to Eastern Orthodoxy over several centuries during the late Middle Ages. They were later joined by the Ingrian Finns, descendants of 17th century Lutheran Finnish immigrants to the area. At that time, modern Finland proper and Ingria were both part of the Swedish Empire.

Astounding quality

The flagmaking tool was easy to use, Vincent the Vexillilologist was incredibly helpful, and the flag quality is top-notch. It's a REAL flag, not some cringey fabric but something that creates a real sense of pride for the entire Council of Andrews. I can't recommend this service highly enough, 11/10 would recommend!!

Shop does not honor return policy!

The flag was sent folded into 16, so there are very visible fold marks.

To send a flag I would expect you would normally roll it around a cardboard tube. I tried to iron it but it didn't do much.

Also, the logo of the company is sewn to the flag. It's a national flag, you shouldn't do that.

Anyway, I requested a return and did explain my reasons, but never got reply.

Hi Jean, Thanks for reaching out! Our flags do indeed arrive folded (this is explored on https://flagmaker-print.com/faq), but these folds can be easily ironed out (low temp settings, put a towel between the flag and iron). Unfortunately we can't deliver flags in rolled up packaging because of packaging size restrictions.

We took a photo from our family album and worked with ChatGPT to create a file that reflected what we wanted. We then took that file and manually uploaded it to Flagmaker. The results were beyond great. When I showed the finished product to our neighbors, they all wanted one. We'll be ordering more soon.
