**The Commonwealth of the Rust Belt** After a comet containing mostly water fell from the sky in the late 2030s, the ocean levels of the world were increased by 220 meters. Because of such drastic events, many areas were cut off from another. One such place was the Commonwealth of the Rust Belt, who unified the eastern peoples of the former United States/Canada. Once called the steel belt in the US, now called the Rust Belt because of the salty waters surrounding the region The Flag: -The pinkish-red represents the compassion of the Commonwealth, helping the peoples of the eastern seaboard rise to power. -There are three different colours of blue representing the three water bodies (from top to bottom: The Superior Straits, The Atlantic Ocean, and the Aztec Gulf) that surround and help the commonwealth survive through the wintery months. -The Gear represents the workers who provide for the union.
